Question about setting up a rule for a zone in MyGeotab

We have a remote location where there is only one road in and out of the site. I have setup a zone on the road leading to the site so when a vehicle enters the zone it sends an email alert to the store person that a vehicle will be arriving in around 15 minutes and it works great. What is happening is when the vehicle stops at the store and then returns on the road it sends the alert again. The maximum time the vehicle would be at the store is one hour. Any ideas how I could stop it sending the second alert?

Thank you for asking your question in our community. Great question. The solution I think may work for this is making the zone bigger and make the zone cover the whole location. Make the rule so that it only creates an exceptions for entering the zone. So the zone would be big and include the road and the store. Right when the got on the road it would trigger an exceptions for entering the zone and then they would stay inside of that zone until the left the store and left the road. That way they never enter the zone again and you dont get the second exception.

 

I hope that make sense but I think that would solve the issue of them entering the zone again once they got back on that road. If this wont work for any reason just let me know and we can do some further brainstorming.
