Annual Trip Reports for TL2 Form

Does anyone have an easy way to print off very basic annual trips that a driver did? By basic I mean (Departure Date and Time, Destination, Return Date and Time, Hours Gone, KM Driven). A long haul driver who is gone for a week or more at a time, might only have 50 trips in a year.

In Canada a driver needs to add up how many days that he was gone from the home terminal to claim his meal allowance on his tax return. At this point our drivers have to page through 365 days of logs to get this number.

Hello @DHors-8309 ,

Thank you for asking your question in our community. This is probably something Geotab ACE could do pretty easily. Just ask it the info you are looking for and name the specific vehicle or driver and it should be able to give you a report.

The other option would be to look at the advanced or standard trips history report for that vehicle he is driving. You can find this under Productivity > Trips History. Then put in your date range and vehicle and there is a report button at the top right where you can get an excel report to show you this information. I think ACE could be the easier option though and just let it do the work.

Have a great day!

I spent a bit of time trying to get Ace to prep it for me, but not having a lot of luck getting it basic enough. Both Ace and Trip History end up with 1500 to 2000 trips for the year and that doesn't help much with what we are trying to do.
