Go Focus Plus

1. Can these cameras be used with vehicles that do not have a go device in it (OEM)? Yes, the GO Focus Plus can be used with OEM Telematics, utilizing one of the two OEM cable configurations (3 Wire or OBD II)
2. Would you need both an inward facing and external facing camera to receive all benefits mentioned? The majority of the features covered on the webinar were in relation to the GO Focus Plus that has both a Road Facing and In-Cabin Camera, but soon we will be releasing a Road Facing Only Version of the GO Focus Plus that will have some additional capabilities over our standard Road Facing only GO Focus dashcam. Stay tuned for availability
3. When are AUX cameras set to be released? We hope to release the single Aux Cam for the GO Focus Plus before EOY, but full 360 Aux Cams will not be available until the Pro Launch closer to Connect
4. How secure is the installation (theft proof) is it removable by driver while vehicle is in lot overnight for example? Generally once installed it will be very hard for the camera to be removed from the windshield and alerts are provided for any additional tampering that can be done
5. Is pedestrian detection on the ADAS roadmap? Pedestrian detection will be offered with the GO Focus Pro
6. Can the AI still identify distracted driving without recording the driver? Yes there are several options to achieve this, whether using "Lens as a Sensor" or customization of the rules to send verbal alerts but NO video
7. Is Facial AI is available on GoFocusPlus? Facial Recognition will be coming to GO Focus Plus before EOY
8. Is "magnitude" available for the Go Focus safety sensor to be able to filter through all the tailgating uploads? While we hope to extend "magnitude" to GO Focus and other Dash Cam solutions today it is only available for the GO Focus Plus

New Harsh Events

1. Does speeding still rely on the listed road speed in Geotab, which comes from Open Street Map? It is the same source of truth, however, we have a team that is continuing work on improving accuracy around speeding with these sources of truth. More to come on future road aheads.
2. What about rate plans? Do you need a specific rate plan for this to work?
3. With the new rules would we see going over a curb as an example? You shouldn't. That is the kind of noise these are very good at ruling out.
4. Can the new rules be adjusted Example Speed over posted for 50 seconds can this be adjusted or is this static? The new speeding rule is static. You can still utilize the legacy speeding rule to make this change. The speeding rule is just a standardized rule. There are many reasons why a standardized rule was needed for customers. Please continue to use the legacy rules for specific speeding rules.
