The short answer is Yes they do tigger at the start of an exception.

Do notifications should come at start or at the end of an exception?

Fatigue detection | GO Focus Plus

Hello. Recently, a customer has reached out asking if this is possible to have a plan or configuration that allow to have GO device data to be extracted to a third party software (customer's internal management software), but without having MyGeotab UI. I believe that due to security and quality reasons, it might not be possible. But just wanted to confirm.

No-software plan

Hello. It is possible to use facial recognition in order to associate camera events with drivers. My question is: if that happens (if the camera associates an event with a known driver), should I expect to see driver assignments in other sections of MyGeotab? (outside camera events). Particularly, should I expect to have driver associated with trips?

Should facial recognition (using GO Focus Plus) bring driver assignments in MyGeotab?

Can GO Focus plus detect DMS events if the driver is wearing sunglasses?

Conteiners are typically large trailers, and it's tricky to get access to a power source (when it's not attached to a truck), and the mounting can be a challenge.  The image below illustrates how containers are commonly stacked on top of each other, which can cause damage to a device placed on the outside of the container. Furthermore, placing a GPS device inside the container can have difficulty recording position data because it is enclosed in a "metal cage."

What asset trackers do you recommend for containers?

The MyGeotab product guide states: A trip is defined as the vehicle's activity from the time it begins moving to the time it finishes a stop. A stop is recorded when the vehicle ignition is turned off, or when the vehicle has a speed of less than 1 km/h for more than 200 seconds. Short stops lasting less than 200 seconds are not counted as stops if the ignition is not turned off (such as stopping for red lights). A trip starts the first time a vehicle moves because vehicles may, at any time, be started and remain stationary for a period of time. Does Data Connector take the same condition? idling = ignition ON and stopped (&lt; 1km/h) for more than 200seconds

How is idling being calculated in the Geotab Data Connector?

Hello. We have a customer using Blackberry radar devices. It seems like data from these devices is not fully integrated to MyGeotab, since it's displayed in BB platform. Has someone been able to integrate data from Blackberry radar devices to MyG? (Maybe using DIG)

Hello. While some <a href="https://support.geotab.com/product-updates/go-focus-plus-video-coaching-launch" target="_blank">documentation </a>states that it is possible to detect fatigue:<ul><li>AI-powered detection: The system accurately identifies high-risk behaviors like phone usage, driver fatigue, and following too closely, minimizing false positives.</li></ul> But looking at video events &gt; rules, I cannot find a rule that explicitly monitors fatigue: <img class="ql-image" src="/forum/plugins/gcs-uploads/files/1790092006305-image.png"/> Deep researching, I found some notes that tell that fatigue can be alerted by detecting yawning and eyes rubbing events. Is this possible to confirm if we actually can support driver fatigue events with GO Focus Plus?

In MyGeotab, do notifications trigger at the start of an exception event—as soon as the rule condition is accomplished and is processed by the rules engine? The question comes because some customers have reported that rules such as <code>Inside Area &quot;ZONE&quot; and Stop </code>trigger notifications only after the exception ends. And if it's been used for security purposes (i.e. for notifications when a vehicle is parked into a dangerous zone), then it would be unefficient. Certainly, we can run controlled tests to confirm, and gather some real world examples. But first, I'd like to have a confirmation of what's the expected behaivor Thanks in advance

Hello all. From the MCP 101 deck, there's a link to this <a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KgBEK0z4TyVymIzatPm_0lkkY4J0edk-tyLRBe9V7ps/edit?tab=t.0" target="_blank">document:</a> <img class="ql-image" src="/forum/plugins/gcs-uploads/files/1790177674575-image.png"/> How should we understand the &quot;Google Gemini added MCP support&quot; statement?

Gemini availability for Geotab MCP Connector

If I'm understanding well, you want to have a &quot;whitelist&quot; of authorized NFC tags. In other words, to be able to define which keys should be detected, and ignore any others. That can be achieved by using Driver ID authlist. To create an authlist of authorized drivers for a particular GO device, apply the following custom parameter to the GO device through MyGeotab: <pre data-language="plain">&lt;Parameter Description=&quot;Enable Authorized Driver List&quot; Offset=&quot;164&quot; Bytes=&quot;8&quot; IsEnabled=&quot;true&quot;&#x2F;&gt;</pre> Once the parameter is applied, the IOX-NFCREADERA only accepts driver key tags assigned to an authorized driver. You can add and remove drivers to&#x2F;from the authlist through the Geotab API (https:&#x2F;&#x2F;developers.geotab.com&#x2F;myGeotab&#x2F;apiReference&#x2F;objects&#x2F;). The authlist mode is disabled when the custom parameter is removed from the GO device. Source: https:&#x2F;&#x2F;support.geotab.com&#x2F;en-GB&#x2F;ioxs&#x2F;doc&#x2F;iox-nfcreadera As a complement, you can use this demo addin to manage authlist on devices:<pre data-language="plain">{
 &quot;url&quot;: &quot;https:&#x2F;&#x2F;app.geotab.com&#x2F;addins&#x2F;geotab&#x2F;driverwhitelisting-bulk-add-driver&#x2F;manifest.json&quot;
}</pre>

How do I configure the Iox NFC so that it only detects keys registered in the database?

Hello. Is this possible to have a GO Focus Plus communicating to more than one database by using extendable services?

@unknown user Thanks. That's indeed part of the text I was referencing to in my post. However, I'd like to have a full confirmation about how specifically we can support driver fatigue, if it's only through yawning and eyes rubbing or if there's (or there will be) another way
