| Hello. Given the number of cameras installed at our clients' sites, we are looking for a way to check their communication status via a report. Could you let me know if such a report exists? |

Hi @Cristian.hdz.Prime24
Great question and one that a number of customers have been asking about.
There isn't a dedicated camera watchdog report with email subscription capability today — but here are the best available options in the meantime:
1. Device Online and Offline Report
The Device Online and Offline report in MyGeotab does cover cameras. It provides a downloadable breakdown of device online/offline status and allows for deeper analysis and reporting. This is your closest current option for tracking communication status across your camera fleet.
2. Assets → Cameras tab
In MyGeotab, navigate to Assets → Cameras to view camera status and health in real time:
- Camera Status — shows whether each camera is Online, Parked, or Offline
- Camera Health Status — indicates whether the camera is working as expected and able to upload video (statuses include Healthy, Unstable, Unhealthy, Not Working, or Pending)
- Click the health status in the Camera Health column for more detail and recommended actions
This is compatible with GO Focus, GO Focus Plus, Lytx Surfsight, and Xirgo cameras.
3. Events → Cameras tab
You can also filter cameras by status (Online, Parked, Offline) under Events → Cameras.
On the roadmap
A dedicated Camera Health Report — integrated into the existing Watchdog report — is actively being planned. The intent is to bring camera reporting in line with what's already available for GO devices, including the ability to surface camera health data in a structured report format.
