Temporary connectivity issues, whether due to the cellular network or the Internet connection of the device running Geotab Drive.
Delay in data transmission: The GO device continues to store recorded data locally while communication is unavailable. Once connectivity is restored, the stored data is transmitted to the platform, and the vehicle's location is updated.

Therefore, when MyGeotab detects that communication with a vehicle is delayed due to a weak signal or connectivity issues, the unit's icon may appear semi-transparent to indicate that the displayed position corresponds to older information and may not represent its current location.

Once communication is restored and the platform receives updated information, the vehicle icon returns to normal display.
