Have you tried using the Asset Sharing link feature that is built into Geotab? (I tried to provide instructions on how, but Geotab refuses to let me submit the response if I include the instructions- for some bizarre reason)

Hi everyone,In Wialon, it is possible to convert a route directly into a geofence (zone), which is very useful because you don't have to recreate the entire area manually.Is there a similar feature available in MyGeotab?For example, if I already have a route, can I convert it into a zone/geofence automatically, or is the only option to create the zone manually by adding each point one by one?I'm looking for the most efficient way to create a geofence that follows an existing route.Thanks in advance!

Is there anyway to change the map back to it's previous settings?

The dropdown menu with options like "dispatch vehicle here, nearest, find address" will either not show up or flash briefly on the screen when clicking on most roads. It seems to disappear when the hover text shows up with the name of the road and speed limit. The menu shows up when clicking on areas that are not near a road and on a specific trip.

I am trying to understand what determines the placement of the label for a zone on the map. We have a customer that uses these zones to easily locate assets according to their internal sectors. It's not practical for this northernmost zone's label to be way up there near the northernmost point, yet it always is (in 2 different environments). I thought it might be uneven point density skewing the geometric centroid point north, but a drastically simplified polygon (~900 points instead of ~23000) positions the label at exactly the same spot. It doesn't seem to be related to the arithmetic mean point either (for the same reasons). So how does Geotab decide where the label goes? How can I help nudge it down near the arithmetic or geometric centers?

Zone label placement logic

I have created zones in Mygeotab and I want to know the average speed at which the units drive within them.    

Is it possible to measure the average speed within a zone?

With the map being pulled from Google Maps, we are able to see icons and names of various points of interest on the map within the myGeotab platform. Is there a way to track stops on reports at restaurants, gas stations, retail plazas, etc. without entering in every single one as a zone?

I have noticed when saving routes after optimizing, it creates a new zone for each waypoint, is there a way to delete these zones in bulk without also deleting saved waypoint zones ?

Hi guys, is there an option to share asset location for multiple assets at a time so a third-party has access to multiple assets via one link. Additionaly, if that is possible also for GO Anywhere devices. If the first option is not plausible what could the workaround. I.e. granting a restricted access to the database to specific group of assets and then adding/removing them. Thank you! Best,Matej
