Highlight groups in MyGeotab Map

Hello.

From this article, we can see the steps to follow in order to view assets by color (assigned to groups) in live map.

The steps provided are:

To view vehicles by their group color:

  1. Navigate to the Map page in MyGeotab.
  2. Click Map options.
  3. Select Highlight assets.
  4. Click on the desired group.

However, I cannot find Map options > Highlight assets in the current version of MyGeotab. Is this still possible to highlight assets by color?

Hey @CesarOrtiz-1781 ,

Thanky ou for asking your question in our community. I wanted to see if Geotab Ace could answer this question so I just pasted it in there and this is what it told me:

Yes, it is still possible to highlight assets by color in MyGeotab, though the specific navigation steps have been updated.

MyGeotab has re-imagined how filtering is performed on the map to enhance fleet visibility with color-coded groups. When filtering, each asset's icon will now display its corresponding Group color, providing an at-a-glance understanding of your fleet's structure and helping improve location identification.

To view vehicles by their group color:

  1. Navigate to the Map page in MyGeotab.
  2. Use the improved filtering options to select the desired group.

The vehicles associated with the selected group will be highlighted in that group's color, while other vehicles may appear gray.

I tested it and it seems like it does what you want it to. You can select all groups to highlight them all if you wanted to or just some of them. Please let me know if ti answers your questions or not.

Have a good one!

Hi @EishiFUN,

When I use any of the filters it just hide all other assets not in the unselected group.

Can you explain how to get this colour function to work?
