I am trying to eliminate any trips that occurred in our yard, ie, driving from one place to another before beginning the actual route. Any ideas on how to do that with the SDK Data feed information?

Hi @SFish-1320 !
Just wanted to add what the SDK team said:
Unfortunately, you can't delete trip objects. However you can create a yard zone on the map and then an exiting yard rule that will trigger when vehicles exit the yard. By adding those exceptions you can easily highlight and hide trips where the vehicle doesn't leave the yard, with the trip details report.
Hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions?
Have a great weekend everyone!
Hey, @SFish-1320!
I think the best way to do this would be to create an exception rule that was triggered any time the vehicle was inside the zone. From there, you could take the duration from that and match it up with the trip data.
Hope this at least helps to get you started. :)
Best,
Hi @SFish-1320 ,
Thank you for asking the Geotab Community! Sounds like Joy was able to get you started in the right direction. But to back up her efforts, I tagged in the SDK team to let them know you're looking for some help connecting trip data with zone data via the SDK.
If you have any other details, please just reply below.
Warm Regards,
Genevieve
