With a lot of the documentation on the MyAdmin API being updated to V3, is there also a plan to update the runner and the Using With JavaScript downloads to be more V3 compliant?  This would allow testing pagination and other new features V3 is intended to provide.  Is there any possibility of having an API client similar to the Geotab JavaScript client (https://github.com/Geotab/mg-api-js) created for the MyAdmin APIs? While I know the possible usage scope is a little different, and working on my own MyAdmin API class is likely a time sink that I would be interested in undertaking. Something more official in the long term would be nice

Hi Team,We pull data for our fleet via the API. We call teh various api endpoints on a daily basis and ask for the last 48 hours of data, so every day there is an overlap of 24 hours in case any data is missed.Even doing that though, often we find that if we go back at month end and pull the whole month we fill in gaps with missing data. What's the best method of pulling the data from the geotab datasets to avoid this? We pull a lot of different callsevents, trips, odometers, engine hours, log status, etc etc. Would really appreciate knowing how we can pull the data using a reported date instead of the event date so we know we've got everything, thanks

Hi, We are building a reporting pipeline that replicates MyGeotab exception rule durations using the SDK. We have been able to match results for most vehicles, but we are seeing consistent discrepancies on units with sparse logging for rules based on Engine Speed thresholds. **Rule structure:** Status Data Diagnostic "Engine speed" &gt; 1200 RPM AND Status Data Diagnostic "Engine speed" &lt; 1400 RPM **How we currently process the data:** We download StatusData for DiagnosticEngineSpeedId and build a time series. For each consecutive pair of logged points, we calculate the interval duration and distribute that time proportionally across RPM ranges using linear interpolation between the two endpoint values. For large gaps where the device did not transmit, we interpolate between the last known value before the gap and the first value after it, using the full gap duration. Interestingly, reprocessing the same rule via the MyGeotab UI produces the same durations as the original — which suggests the data used for the calculation is persisted on the platform. **Our specific questions:** a) When MyGeotab evaluates an RPM-based exception rule, does it use only the StatusData records available via the SDK, or does it also use an internal higher-resolution data store not exposed through the API? b) Is there a StatusData search parameter, result type, or API endpoint that returns intermediate logged values not returned by a standard fromDate/toDate query? c) For a rule like the one above, does MyGeotab interpolate linearly between consecutive StatusData points to estimate duration within the threshold, or does it only count time when a logged point explicitly falls within the range? d) Are there any other diagnostic IDs, data types, or API calls we should be using to get the full Engine Speed time series that MyGeotab uses internally for exception calculation? Thank you,

We are developing an internal integration using the MyGeotab SDK and need to programmatically fetch video clips captured by our Geotab GO Focus Plus cameras.In the MyGeotab web portal, we can see the camera clips perfectly under the Video &gt; Events page. On the API side, we are successfully using GetFeed on the ExceptionEvent endpoint to capture the telematics events, but these event payloads do not contain any video links or camera metadata. Furthermore, querying the MediaFile endpoint always returns zero records.Our Questions for the SDK Support Team:What is the correct API endpoint or workflow to retrieve video clips or video URLs for the GO Focus Plus camera?If these video events are not exposed through the standard Geotab JSON-RPC SDK, what is the recommended way for a developer to programmatically access this footage?Thank you for your guidance.

When using the DeviceStatusInfoSearch for Diagnostics, it is possible to call the current value against DiagnosticOdometerAdjustmentId or DiagnosticEngineHoursAdjustmentId against every vehicle in a fleet, but unlike calling StatusData it doesn't appear to self-upgrade the response if ECM data is detected.  For example, using StatusData, if the deviceID has data in DiagnosticOdometerId, calculated from Raw Odometer + Adjustment + Offset, it will automatically provide DiagnosticOdometerId, not DiagnosticOdometerAdjustmentId let nowISO = (new Date).toISOString()

Does anyone else have an easy way of getting the lat/longs from each step along the Leg of a GetDirections api call? It's useful to see the turn by turn directions, but it's limits its use when you can't see where those turns will be. Does anyone have any other ways of solving this?

Hello, I'm new to Geotab Add-in development. Just created a simple Asp.Net Core WebApp with Razor pages and deployed to Azure. The web app is rendering fine by itself and accessible by public; but once I add an "Add-in" in My Geotab and configured the url to point to it, it seemed to only want to load briefly and then it disappeared. Behind the browser, there was some js lib errors that were not existing when the website is standalone. According to your dev guide, there are two types of Add-ins, "Pages" and "Buttons" - "A custom page Add-in can be thought of as a complete web application inside your Geotab account". But looks like there are some restrictions based on the issue I encountered. What are these restrictions?  In my standalone web app, I also added CORS policy to allow origin from   https://my.geotab.com.  Thanks for your time and attention.

A Webapp developed in .net and deployed at Azure (public) cannot be loaded in Add-in

While I have been successfully able to use "toDate" to specify a range of dates when searching for exception events as recently as Thursday, May 28, GetFeed now appears to return the number of events specified in resultsLimit regardless of whether the exception occurred after the specified "toDate." I do not have issues specifying "toDate" using Get.
