Why does a GO device send incorrect coordinates?

I have a Go7 device that is sending very strange coordinates; in this case, it's sending its position in China.

Hi Team,

The cause of the interference: A transmitter emitting false GPS signals was detected in the area, with fixed GPS coordinates in Chengdu, China.

Hey @OscarS-1828 ,

Thank you for asking your question in our community. That is very strange. I cant think of a reason why it would unless there is something going wrong here. I would suggest making a support ticket to take a look at this and see what is going on here.

I would be curious to know if you learn anything about this or if it just some kind of one off bug.

Have a good one!

Hi Eishi, I'm looking into it through the ticket. I'll keep you updated.

Hello @OscarS-1828

Can you help me with the comments on the results of the case carried out

Interesting that makes sense it was something messing with it.

Thanks for giving us the update Oscar!

I realise that isn't the case, but when a device is in suspend mode, sometimes displays incorrect locations; we've had instances of devices in that state showing their location as being in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, for example.

Hello @Francisco Núñez

Thank you for your response. In this case, several devices with the same issue were identified in the same area, all of which were active.

A spoofing and interference attack was detected in the Sinaloa area.

Good morning, Oscar.

It's possible that the devices detected an external signal that caused them to display incorrect coordinates.
