Does the idle session timeout work on Drive App users or is it just with MyGeotab? Trying to find remedies for drivers constantly missing DVIR inspections.

Yeah, I'd say to submit to the Feedback Hub and then take it to your PAM in case they can help get things sped up due to the compliance issue. Put the link to the feedback request here if you'd like it to be more easily found for people to upvote/comment on why it's important. Have your team upvote/follow/comment this to help Geotab understand how important this is. If you have any people in the industry willing to do the same, send the link to them as well.
My recommendation on this is usually that people with drivers not use the Idle session timeout feature if they're using ELD, but I understand that that can cause compliance issues for safety in some cases.
Anyway, good luck! :)

Hey @bbnk-1329 ,
Thank you for asking your question in our community. I believe this only applies to the MyG UI. Although they should be logged out of the Drive app every 2 weeks for security reasons.
I know it is a tough problem to solve trying to get drivers to do what they need to do. I wonder if @JoyB-1751 @postmelon-1566 have any advice they can share that has helped them with this in the past.
Have a good weekend!

I agree, I think that could be a great way to help solve that problem. If you can I would encourage you to submit your idea to the Feedback hub so our Product managers and designers will see it and be able to take that into consideration when making updates to MyGeotab and Geotab Drive.
Hey, @bbnk-1329!
My best recommendation here is to run a test to see if this affects drivers. It makes sense to me that it would affect drivers since they are still users in the system, but perhaps I am mistaken.
Anyway, for expediency's sake I recommend creating a ***** driver in a demo MyGeotab database, applying one of these System Settings, and then waiting to see what happens. It's usually faster than asking Geotab for a definite answer and it'll at least give you a substantial point in your Feedback Hub request if you can include this info as well.
Hope this helps. :)

Joy B
