We are one of the Eleos integrators, so we focus on empowering heavy truck customers with workflow and a customizable mobile app experience. For the most part, our users use the embedded Geotab drive experience Eleos created inside the app, by proxying through the https://my.geotab.com/drive interface.
However, we have some customers who have use cases where they might prefer to use the Geotab Drive app separately. The notifications are more prominent, it lets them make better use of native tools and add-ins, and they don't have to sign into Eleos (and get their Geotab password reset) for situations where they only want to log hours, or where they cannot log into Eleos.
What we'd like to do is create an experience that's similarly seamless for those use cases. So we could pull the hours into Eleos from the Geotab API easily, but we'd like to launch them straight to specific screens in Geotab Drive from Action buttons within Eleos. We can start any Deep Link, so my thought was that if Geotab Drive supported Deep Linking to specific intents, we could take them straight to the Asset Page, or straight to the Duty Status page, and so on, then they could resume using Eleos seamlessly when they back out.
