looking for a work around for not having a cell phone sim card in a tabllet. google says i can plug into the geo device and it will power and send the GPS to the tablet. found out it will only send GPS to it and not power it. so i'm looking for some type T cable that GeoTab may sell.

Thank you for asking your question in our community. Even if you get power to the tablet you still have the issue of the tablet having no internet connection. The tablet will need to connect to the internet to use MyGeotab or Geotab drive. There are some devices that give a wifi signal so you can connect the tablet to that if you have one of those devices. If not you will need to use a tablet or phone that has an internet connection.
