Thank you for asking your question in our community. I am sorry I have been away on vacation recently so I am just seeing this. If I understand correctly you are trying to make an add-in that shows vehicle weight?

In fact we are looking to create an add-in to display Status Data values. We just don't know how to access those Status Data, any clue?

Yes I'm making new add-in to show the vehicle weight.

I created a select box of vehicles, so when I select a vehicle I want to show the wieght of that selected vehicle.

In fact we want to display the values of the different Status Data we use for weights of different channels:

Onboard scale channel A: gross weight 32770

Onboard scale channel B: gross weight 32778

Onboard scale channel C: gross weight 32786

Onboard scale channel D: gross weight 32794

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I talked to one our engineers and they told me: I tried a couple of diagnostics to get the weight of the vehicle, but it looks like this is not generally populated via the API.

 

The traditional way that I'm aware of to get the weight of a vehicle is to use external APIs using the VIN of the vehicle and then search for the specs of the vehicle based on its make and model.
