How can I edit the date on a DVIR? I needed to add a DVIR from the previous day but when I saved it I realized it didn't give me a date option. Now I have two DVIR's for the same day.

Pretty sure this is one of those ones that is a compliance thing, which is why there's no way to edit the date. Although this isn't legal advice and you should check with your local FMCSA field office or service center to be sure, I'd recommend putting the actual date in the comments section if you're putting it in after the fact.

Thank you for asking your question in our community. We are happy to have you here. I do not know of a way to change the date for a DVIR. I don't think it is possible to edit the date or even choose the date/time for the DVIR at any point. I know you have seen it all @jjake-8255 do you know if this is possible? Or if you know of any good workarounds customers typically use in this case.

Now that we know we can't edit a date. How do I get rid of the duplicate DVIR I created for the driver?

I don't think you can remove a DVIR. Pretty sure you have to purge it after X amount of time. 🤔
Not super helpful, but should at least get you pointed in the right direction. Your reseller or Geotab support should be able to help further. 😊
