We are looking at adding our Caterpillar graders to our account. What we are looking to do is monitor blade up and down position to track maintenance/grading on our roads on a daily basis. Is this possible to do? If so what are the steps involved as well as GEOtab equipment needed?

Yes, it is possible to integrate Caterpillar vehicles using Geotab's OEM solution.
Necessary steps:
1. Get credentials: Contact your Caterpillar dealer to obtain ISO 15143-3 (AEMP 2.0) API credentials.
2. Registration in MyAdmin: Register the third-party serial numbers in MyAdmin with product code 10062 and the Caterpillar AEMP plan.
3. Setup: In MyGeotab, install the OEM Configuration Add-In and enter your Caterpillar Client ID and Secret.
@Cristian.hdz.Prime24 Thanks for the response. I did find what you had posted helpful. Are you able to tell me or have any first hand experience with the data that can be pulled. Are we able to see blade up/down positions, speeds, and other real time data? our main focus would be on the blade up/down. I was wondering if we would need to install a proximity type sensor to monitor this.
