Can a GO9 work in a FRUEHAUF dry van with a 3-wire harness, and what would the considerations be if it is feasible?

Hello @EChan-1748 ,

Thank you for asking your question in our community. So to connect a 3 wire harness you need to connect it to power, ground and ignition. I can look into it more but without ignition I dont think the 3 wire is going to be a viable install. For these trailers the Go device really isnt the best solution and is probably more expensive than what is actually needed for it since the GO device has a lot of features that cannot be used with the trailer. I would suggest using some kind of asset tracker like a Go Anywhere so you can track the trailer in MyGeotab.

I am interested to hear more about your use case though so if you have any other details to share please do. Let me know if you have any other questions about this or anything else. We are happy to help!
