Hello @KBrad-1851 ,
Thank you for asking your question in our community. I want to preface my answer by saying this is not legal advice but only advice on your option available in the software available to you. For any legal advice I would encourage you to reach out to your local authority.
This is common to happen and the advice I always give is to do everything you can to get your drivers to log out and disassociate themselves from their vehicle when going off for the 14 hr break. The best advice I have to clear this in the system is to use the ignore feature to ignore these logs so they do not interrupt the calculations for his 14 hour rest. Making sure the annotations state clearly what happened. Here is a document we have on using the ignore feature: Using The Ignore Feature V.1.0
It is entirely up to you if you want to use this feature but it should help at least clear your violation.
Let us know if you have any questions about this. We are here to help.
Have a good one!
