I understand Administrative remote access for Geotab support is authenticated by the use of Two Factor Authentication. Is the process we log in also a Two Factor Authentication?

Hi @Normie-1101 ,

Glad to see you asking so many questions! Even better that I can't seem to find any knowledge articles for some of them, so you're adding new knowledge and value for us all to learn from - which is always extra appreciated. 😊

To be completely honest, I've never logged in as anyone other than a Geotab employee and could not find a definitive resource. When I looked at the video Navigating Your Database, it showed that you are only required to enter a username and password - which would not be two factor authentication.

As a Geotab employee, I do have two factor authentication to access MyGeotab. Here's what my login process looks like: I enter my username, database name, and password as a first authentication. Then a message is sent to my phone to verify that it was me who entered the information which I'm required to authenticate the second time through.

When you log into MyGeotab, what is the process like?

Best,

Gen
