Thank you for asking your question in our community. This blue light is for GPS connection. So what is likely happening is the GO device is having trouble connecting to GPS satellites. There are a couple things you can. I would first try to drive the vehicle around a bit so it can try to connect and if that doesn't work try to unplug the device and plug it back in then go for another drive.
If we are still seeing the light blinking and not connecting to GPS we will probably want support to take a look at it and see if they can identify what the issue is. I wouldn't worry about the vehicles battery the GO device is only pulling a small amount of energy and it would take a very long time to kill the battery.

I should've mentioned that the blue light starts blinking every 5 seconds, 5 minutes after I have turned the truck off and locked the doors.
The blue light will then blink every 5 seconds until I drive the truck again.
When the truck is driven less than 50' a solid green light will stay lit.
Is it normal for the blue light to blink every 5 seconds for hours/days after turning off the truck?
Typically when we see the blue light blinking it is due to the device trying to get a GPS lock. If it just keep blinking I would think it is having trouble getting one. Will you look at the faults for the device under Maintenance in MyGeotab and see if there is anything that stands out there?
