I have a customer that is moving all devices and data over to a new database, including logs, data, and all configurations they have setup in their initial database, I am looking for a resource, step by step type of document to guide the customer through this process to effectively transfer and retain all data for assets, setups, drivers, etc. do we have an established guide for a customer on how to do this? if so, could this be shared with me, or clarified?  thank you in advance!

 Hello, I've noticed that on newly installed devices, when checking their communication in MyAdmin, no GPS communication is shown, even though a coordinate record exists in the database. I want to know if there's a point in time when this data disappears from MyAdmin, as I generate queries based on it.

Is there an estimated time frame after which GPS data will no longer be reflected in MyAdmin?

Very simple feature that we need urgently:If an account is using Basic Authentication, there is a toggle (off by default) where 2FA can be enabled.Doesn't even have to be phone/sms (the more options the better of course), but just simple OTP authenticator app support (like Microsoft Authenticator etc.) Reasoning:Basic authentication is not secure, and with some of our users it's the only way, which goes against policy.

How long does MyAdmin retain the date for a device's last GPS record and last engine record?I have been reviewing several devices in MyAdmin and noticed that even though some units previously had valid GPS and engine data, after a certain period of time, the field changes to 'No data.' I am attaching a sample image for reference. I would appreciate it if anyone could clarify the retention logic or why these fields eventually revert to 'No data'.

2 of my assets say base plan in MyGeotab but all the rest have the pro plan how do I fix to pro plan

Yesterday we took a GEOTAB device out of a unit going to auction and placed it into another unit. I did the swap function on the site and it worked. The tech installed the device in the new vehicle and took it on a road test. It did report and show the drive route successfully. However once the unit showed as back in our shop, it promptly disappeared. I could no longer see it with either the old or new unit number, nor could I see it using the GEOTAB device serial number.

Hi Geotab Community,I'd like to confirm the maximum number of assets (devices/vehicles) that can be registered in a single MyGeotab database.Is there a hard system limit (technical maximum) for the number of assets/devices per database?Are there any licensing/subscription limits that vary by plan/contract?Where can I check the limit for my own account/contract (e.g., in MyGeotab or in an official document)?Any official references or guidance would be appreciated.
