We are encountering a conflict about which port to use for our Telematics, and for future reporting of CTC testing. Paccar and Freightliners are requiring us to use the RP1226 and are demanding we remove telematics from the OBD port due to conflicts being caused (several have been encountered). However, we cannot use RP1226 for California CTC. Please provide guidance.

<p>It's not because they are coming loose. It's because some trucks have battery isolation switches that drivers will shut off to conserve batteries. This kills all power (including the Go Device) therefore it thinks it's been disconnected. I get several warnings a week and it took me awhile to figure out why. </p>
