To make this process more efficient, we are introducing the new Asset Utilization page, which provides native, standardized utilization metrics directly within MyGeotab.

• Instant core metrics: View days used, hours used, distance traveled, and a clear breakdown of idle versus drive time, with no manual configuration required.
• Trend tracking and comparisons: Monitor usage trends over days, weeks, or years, and compare utilization across different vehicle types or fleet segments.
• Right-sizing insights: Easily identify underutilized or overutilized assets to help optimize your budget and fleet size.

This new page gives you instant access to the data you need to make informed, accountable decisions about your fleet. By standardizing these metrics directly in the platform, you eliminate the need for manual data manipulation or reliance on third-party reporting tools. Having clear visibility into both productive and unproductive time helps you confidently right-size your fleet, optimize your budget, and ensure every asset is pulling its weight.

The Asset Utilization page will be available globally as a Preview feature starting in June, 2026. To access it during this phase, you must manually enable the feature under your Preview settings in MyGeotab. General Availability for all customers is planned for July, 2026.
