Lost Mode is a self-serve asset recovery feature built into MyGeotab that enables fleet managers to activate enhanced tracking with a single click when a vehicle or asset goes missing.
Lost Mode is a self-serve asset recovery feature built into MyGeotab. When a vehicle or asset goes missing, fleet managers can activate Lost Mode with one click - the system automatically adjusts device behavior to maximize recovery chances by increasing tracking frequency if available and concealing device presence.
Lost Mode is available on the Assets page and the Map page. It works across all Geotab device types - GO devices, GO® Anywhere™, and third-party asset trackers - with device-specific behavior adjustments optimized for each platform.
