Archived assets

Archiving your assets allows you to make assets inactive while still keeping their data.

Archiving assets is an alternative to removing assets from your database. It allows you to keep all of an asset's data without keeping them in your active pool of assets. This makes it easier to manage the assets you're currently using by hiding the assets you don't need anymore.

Archiving assets also lets you reactivate an asset at any time. Reactivating assets saves you time by adding the asset back into your active pool with a click rather than needing to add it as a new asset.

Note: Archiving an asset from your database does not automatically deactivate billing. Please contact your Partner to make the appropriate billing changes.

You can filter the Assets page to view your archived assets. You can also use the Assets page to archive assets in bulk, or the Asset Details page to archive assets one at a time.
