Viewing a device's firmware version
Learn how to check the firmware version of a GO device in MyGeotab for a single device or across your fleet.
- Navigate to Assets page in the main menu.
- Select the asset.
- Click the Settings tab, and then click Advanced.
Note: To see the firmware version for multiple devices, download the advanced Device list from the Assets page and check the Firmware Status column.
Note: Firmware updates happen automatically after the ignition is turned off and during heartbeat connections. An update starts only after the device finishes uploading its data.
