GO Anywhere device settings

The GO® Anywhere™ family of devices use unique device modes that can help conserve battery life depending on your needs.

If your primary device for an asset is part of the GO® Anywhere™ family of devices, you can use the Devices & Settings tab of the Asset Details page to view your device's battery level and manage its device mode.

The Battery level field displays the estimated State of Charge percentage remaining for the batteries in your device. If also displays the Estimated Life Remaining in days, months, and years based on the device's usage.

GO® Anywhere™ devices can use the following device modes:
  • Movement Delayed: This is the default device mode. In this device mode, the device gathers location data every 30 minutes while on a trip. All trip information is uploaded once per day at 12:00 AM (midnight).

  • Movement: Immediate: In this device mode, the device updates its location when movement is detected (the trip start). It continues to gather location data every 30 minutes while on a trip and uploads the trip information when the trip ends. The trip end is triggered when the asset is stationary for 1 hour or more.

  • Time: In this mode, the device updates its location at the time and frequency you set. You can set the first update time for the device to begin reporting.
