Please ensure that the following documents below will be available to drivers which must be kept within the cab of all the vehicles in hard copy or electronic form. Note the documents below are the same for both USA and Canada.
- Driver's Guide to Diagnostics and Malfunction Events (US & Canada) (Must be printed or kept electronically and available in the cab as per the law.)
- Driver's Guide to the Drive App (Must be printed or kept electronically and available in the cab as per the law.)
- Driver's Guide to Roadside Checks (Must be printed or kept electronically and available in the cab as per the law. Applies only to inspections in the USA)
- A supply of blank driver's records of duty status (RODS) graph-grids sufficient to record the driver's duty status and other related information for a minimum of 8 days (Must be kept in the cab as per the law)
Ensure that the following documents are available to the driver. The following documents/hot sheets may also be of assistance but are NOT required by law.
- Driver's Guide to Hours of Service (Recommended)
- Driver's Guide to Asset Inspection) (Recommended)
