Hey, @JArms-1802!

Here are some things to check to make sure you're logging in properly:

  1. Username is correct
  2. Password is typed accurately
  3. Server is my.geotab.com*
  4. Database name is specified and accurately typed

*NOTE: If you have a white-labeled version of MyGeotab that shows up with a logo of some other company, you will very likely have a different server name to type in here in order to get the system to let you in.

If you're a driver, here's a quick tutorial video I made a while back that may help you out a bit:

Logging Into Geotab Drive

If you're unsure about any of the above, I would recommend reaching out to your database administrator. If you are the administrator, you'll likely want to reach out to your Geotab reseller or Geotab Support--whichever is your usual support channel.

If you're still unsure about this, let us know here and @EishiFUN should be able to help you locate someone to assist you.

Hope this helps at least get you pointed in the right direction! :)

Best,

Joy B

I still can't get it to do anything. One of the guys I work with says it is not pointing to the City of Rocky Mount database. Thanks, Scott Armstrong Electric Meter Supervisor City of Rocky Mount Energy Services Department PO Box 1180 Rocky Mount, NC 27802-1180 Ph: 252-467-4810 Fax: 252-467-4899

Hi Scott,

You will need to find out what that database is and make sure you enter it when putting your credentials in.

If you're still having difficulty, I would recommend reaching out to someone at your company to see if they can help you get logged in. If that doesn't work, see if someone at your company has contact information for the company you get Geotab support from. One of those options should provide you with what you need, but let us know here if you have tried those and still need help, and hopefully we can get you connected with someone who can assist.

Best,

Joy B
