We have just gone with Geo Tab and implemented a driver ID reader.
We want the reader to beep a few seconds after ignition and then continue for 60 seconds.
Is this setting correct for the above?
We have been getting conflicting advice from our Geo Tab reseller.
The latest advice is to set the ID reminder to beep 30-60 seconds.
Recommended Solution:
Please adjust the Driver ID reminder window in the device settings from 3 seconds to between 60 and 90 seconds.
To me that means the device will beep once the driver is potentially moving.
Could anyone with driver ID settings working well please guide me?
(As a background we are a Water and Sewerage Utility in Australia with approx. 400 Geo Tabbed assets).

I wasn't able to see your attachment, but there are two settings for Driver ID Reminders. The first one will determine how long the the vehicle needs to be shut off before a new request for driver identification is initiated. The second setting determines how long the vehicle will beep to request that the driver scans their fob.

I'd set the settings as seen below this will make it so the device will remember the previous driver scan in for 30 seconds after ignition off. It will also beep for 60 seconds after ignition on.
