Hey @Cristian.hdz.Prime24
Great question thank you for asking it here! I cant sayh I have come accross this before and I haven't been able to test this directly, but based on how MyGeotab handles colors internally, here's my best inference on what may be happening.
Zone colors in MyGeotab are stored using four components: R (red), G (green), B (blue), and A (alpha/opacity), each as an integer value from 0–255. The most likely culprit when colors turn black is the Alpha (A) value — if it's set to 0 or left blank, the color will be fully transparent, which can render as black on the map. Make sure A is set to 255 for full opacity.
It's also worth confirming that colors are being entered as separate R, G, B, A integer values rather than a hex string like #FFCC00, as the template may not interpret hex format correctly.
I'd love to get a definitive answer on this — if anyone has tested this and can confirm or correct my reasoning, please chime in! And if the issue persists after checking those values, a support ticket would be the best next step so our team can look at the specific values being passed.
Have a good one!

@Cristian.hdz.Prime24 If you're talking about the colour picker, you need to adjust the slider on the far right, if it's at the bottom it'll always be black and if it's at the top it'll always be white.
