Changes requested.

1) I don't understand why your app doesn't display the time? (including seconds) I would like it to be visible when the vehicle is moving and also when the vehicle is not moving. Not in fine print please.

2) I would like the "Driver Challenge" events to be visible in the list under the activity report graph (HOS), in order to know the precise time of the event.

3) I would like the application to be faster and stop waiting for a response that comes from the WEB. There are several places in the app where it seems to be waiting for a response that doesn't come and causes the app to freeze for several seconds.

THANKS

Hey @JPoul-1955,

Feedback like this would be best sent through the Feedback Hub. Also, if you're having issues like this, you should reach out to your reseller because they'll make sure to open a ticket with Geotab and resolve the issue for you.

Thanks,

Tucker

Hey, @JPoul-1955!

Is this about Geotab Drive, or the Driver Challenge add-in? If the latter, @LPPapillon-1145 may be able to chime in to discuss (if he's available).

Best,

Joy B

Thanks Joy.

I think here it would be easier to have this discussion with your reseller in order to understand the wish list, and perhaps to offer alternate solutions that are already in place now. It's hard to comment based on the above only.

There are several ways to get precise date-times for each event in the Challenge already, but none of them are linked to the HOS page or graph.

You say that there are already several ways to obtain precise dates and times for each Challenge event, I tell you that I cannot access this information, that is the reason for the request.

If the event took place less than a day ago, I can know approximately to the hour when.

If the event took place less than an hour ago, it becomes a little more precise and I can guess where the event took place.

Within Geotab Drive, within the Challenge add-in, drivers will see a "LATEST EVENTS" tab which lists all events from the previous 72 hours. Each even is listed there with precise date-time and nature, and clicking on this event will show the exact location on a map.

Within the MyGeotab Driver Challenge Standings add-in, when you look at a user's report card, you can click the number of events for a specific rule in the table, this will show all exceptions related to that rule. From there, you can drill down to each individual event and visualize it along with map and telematics as well. These are 2 methods from within the Driver Challenge, but events in the Driver Challenge are events in Geotab as well, and you might be best served using a normal Exceptions report in Geotab to view each event. The Driver Challenge is more of an overall, aggregate view. Your reseller should be able to help you with all of this.

Sorry! But, neither in the application on Microsoft Windows, nor on the tablet PC in the vehicle, can I see this information. Either it doesn't work or the administrator is the only one to see this information and this is not normal. We would be able to see that there was an event, but unable to know at what time, because I doubt that certain events actually took place.

This makes me think that we can edit our timesheet in the Windows app, but we can't validate it. Only in the vehicle. I also find it special in how it works.

Still have questions?
