The docs explain there are two types of AddIns, pages and buttons. Are button AddIns available in the Drive App, specifically on the "main" page? If so, how do we configure the AddIn config?

No, Button add-ins are only supported in MyGeotab. In Geotab Drive, only Page add-ins are supported.
