Ruleset Change Log Edit - Clearance

What Clearance allows a non-driver to edit a RSC log entry? When comparing current clearances, the only difference between a user than can edit and a user than cannot is the "administer users" clearance, however this is a log edit. Is this tied to the User instead of the log, making it only editable if you can edit or delete a users profile account?

Hello @EDike-6164 ,

Thank you for asking your question in our community. "Administer HOS logs" is what allows someone to edit the logs. It may be something not in clearance that is not allowing the user to edit the users logs. I would see what their group access is. They could have their data access restricted to a group with only them in it or a small section of users.

Let us know if you have any other questions or need any help digging into this. We are here to help!

Have a great day!

@EDike-6164 Sorry I didnt realize this when I first answered. The rulesets are tied to the user profile. So in this case in order to make any edits concerning rule sets you would need to be able to " administer the user".

Are you trying to have that user change the ruleset for the driver?

Still have questions?
