Capture, store and manage vehicle condition photos per vehicle

Hi team,

We use MyGeotab in Australia and need a way to capture, store and manage vehicle condition photos per vehicle and per handover (not only when a defect is found). Installation photos are limited to four per record, and Geotab Drive only allows photos against a marked defect and can't make them mandatory. Could you advise:

  1. Is there any built-in Geotab feature that covers this, including anything in preview or on the roadmap?
  2. Which Marketplace solutions supported in Australia allow mandatory photos during inspections (e.g. Whip Around), and can ORIGOInspect be enabled for an Australian account?
  3. What are the costs, activation steps and user permissions required for each option?
  4. Where are the photos stored, how long are they retained, and can they be exported or accessed via API?

Hey @thubui ,

Thank you for asking your question in our community. I dont know of anything built in that would exactly fit this need. I think we do have some options for this in our marketplace that @DaneWhipAround-2084 or @ORIGOSafety-2006 can speak to with their solutions.

Have a good one!

Hi @thubui , it's Dane from Whip Around. Great questions, this sounds exactly like something that we can support. Whip Around users can require mandatory photos and videos as part of an inspection without needing to be associated with a defect. We store the forms and photos indefinitely in the cloud and you can export them anytime via API, downloadable PDF, or even create an external link to access the document online. Although most of our team is located in the US, Whip Around was founded in New Zealand and we still have plenty of active customers in Australia and NZ today.

If you have more questions or would like to discuss pricing, onboarding, and user management, please feel free to send over an email and I would be happy to help! dane.hollar@whiparound.com

@EishiFUN thanks for the heads up!
