What does the SA mean on a driver's HOS log in MyGeotab?

Hello everyone,

I've recently had an issue with a user. I've noticed that an event appears in the HOS logs as SA. I've searched the abbreviations in the user guide, and I didn't see anything related to that. (I'll add an image.)

Does this have to do with the roadside verification process from the Drive app?

Is it the document shared with the DOT?

Or is it part of some other configuration?

At the same time, this appears in a one-day HOS log.

Is this automatically deleted, or is it something the driver needs to do?

I want to think it's "Shipment attached", but where does this come from?

Regards 😁

Hey, @PauletteGonzalez-1884!

Pretty sure this stand for Shipment Attached to denote whenever a driver adds a new shipment.

I am not sure whether this gets sent to the DOT or not (my guess is that it probably does, but you'd likely need to check with the FMCSA about it to be sure).

Hope this helps. :)
