Can a picture be mandatory on a dvir in Geotab Drive

I see the option to mark an defect as required for the drivers. We would like to make adding a photo a requirement to the asset inspection, is that an option in MyGeotab?

Hey, @aaspa-1524!

It is not possible to require photos via the built-in Geotab Drive app; however, there's a Marketplace solution called ORIGOInspect that has functionality to require photos (it's also built as an add-in, so it looks like it's just another part of your MyGeotab software).

If interested in this, hit up @cskel-3635, as he can provide you a demo, etc., as needed. :)

Thank you @JoyB-1751  - do you know if you can mark something as no defects on the drive app but still add a photo?

Hey, @aaspa-1524!

I don't think this is possible via the Geotab Drive app, since you have to mark a defect in order to see the photo option; however, the ORIGOInspect app has a four-corners feature that requires drivers to take pictures regardless of defect status, which may provide what you're looking for. :)

Hi @aaspa-1524

Great question! This might be something that Whip Around can help with. We are an integrated marketplace partner that specializes in custom inspection and maintenance software. Our solution integrates right into the Drive App and gives you the ability to make photos mandatory even if an item passes inspection.

I hope this helps! Feel free to DM me if you'd like to learn more.
