Does Geotab offer to use it in disconnected mode? The reasonI am asking is we work in pipeline construction and a lot of times our vehiclesare up in the mountain with zero signal. On one site we have no signal at allas there is only one cell boost tower, my drivers stand by the tower trying tolog in but to no avail, they cannot stay there all day as they need to work onthe project. If Geotab does offer this then it will allow my drivers tocomplete the choose vehicle option, do a DVIR and go about their day, then oncethey get back to a normal area and get signal they open the app and everythingthey did for the day would upload to the cloud. I currently do this with myiPad on several apps as a compliance manager while I am up there and then whenI get signal all my work is uploaded to each app and saves it for futurereference.

Is there a video that shows logging into Geotab Drive for DVIR only?  I don't need it to show the HOS portion at all.

The customer is only using the DVIR (they are not HOS). They want the drivers to do an Asset Inspection daily at the beginning of the shift, but if a defect that was previously reported is not repaired by the next day, they have to first list all defects as repaired before they can do a new inspection, which point they enter in those same defects.

Can a driver submit a new asset inspection without resolving defects from a previous inspection on the same vehicle?

Is it actually possible for a driver still assigned to a vehicle 120 miles away to be able to log in and be able to perform a DVIR on that vehicle? How can this be prevented if so if a vehicle is moved and nobody makes the vehicle location change?

I see the option to mark an defect as required for the drivers. We would like to make adding a photo a requirement to the asset inspection, is that an option in MyGeotab?

Is there a way to create 2 Pre-Trip inspection option within the Geotab Drive App for my drivers?  Our driver's are made up of commercial vehicle driver's and non-commercial vehicle drivers.  FMCSA requires vehicle inspections for all commercial vehicles which are currently being performed by the drivers.  I'm looking to create a basic pre-trip inspection for non-commercial vehicles for my drivers that drive vans &amp; pick-up trucks.  Is there an option or way to set-up 2 DVIR options when driver's log into there app?  One option would be our current DVIR for our commercial vehicle the other option that I'm looking to create would be for a non-commercial vehicle.

No Post-Trip DVIR is required for  my client.  However, their missing pre-trip DVIR rule is triggered due to the post trip not being completed. Is there a way to turn off the Post Trip DVIR requirement?
