Sure thing! What you want is called MultiCall: https://developers.geotab.com/myGeotab/guides/concepts/#multi-call Note: We only recommend using it for Get calls, not for Add, Set or Remove. If it encounters an error, it will abort part of the way through and return an error message.

Getting the data all at once

Depending on the scale and amount of events you are tracking, it may be best to have a simple multicall structure to get the data points you need on demand, or it may be worth pulling all relevant entities via GetFeed and having a ready cache on hand as needed. NOTE: The getfeed methods can lead to a LOT of bandwidth usage that may be a deterrent. You can also look at using the Notification system attached to rules, as they can perform an HTTP Post when triggered and pass information that way. NOTE: This is a 'try once and move on' type system, so if the receiving end is not listening / receiving info for any reason, you will miss out on that info. We usually recommend an api method for this reason.

Joy and LP are both on target here. Geotab uses a session ID (returned as part of the Auth process), and it's good for up to 14 days for MyGeotab api calls. Are they looking to embed the MyGeotab map page directly in their webpage using the URL method found here: https://developers.geotab.com/myGeotab/guides/myGeotabUrls/  If yes, there is a section there that talks about Authentication at the bottom of that page. Can we use LogRecords API for a list of devices to get positions for last 24 hours from MyGeotab?

Good morning <a href="/user/barry-chen-2009" data-id="2009" data-value="BarryChen-2009" data-denotation-char="@" class="text-decoration-none mention">@BarryChen-2009</a>​ , This is a nuance of the way the Get calls perform and how the search functionality works. If you only have a time frame search, the Get will return any actual records that appear within that time period for the diagnostic search you listed. No interpolation is done when a device search isn't included. If you include a device search, it will use the bracketing values and interpolate a value to match. If you are trying to get the Odometer value for all vehicles at a specific time, you would need to do a series of multi calls that calls each device specifically. I believe there are samples here in Community that address this as well that should provide some additional call.

Sorting getFeed responses from MyGeotab SDK

MyGeotab has an object designed to exactly this! The <a href="https://developers.geotab.com/myGeotab/apiReference/objects/DeviceStatusInfo" target="_blank">DeviceStatusInfo </a>object only has the current state of the vehicle, so you don't ever get a stale record. It has more info than you want, but that's probably not going to be an issue. It supports both Get and GetFeed. With Get, you can get the most current information for an individual or collection of devices on demand. Using GetFeed, it will provide an update as information changes for a device. This object is great for updating any type of visualization or map, as it includes things like the bearing, any active exceptions and whether it's currently driving in addition to the location and speed. It's worth noting that there is NO historical lookup on this object, it's only the current status.

Here is a doc that gives an example: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ikEi3HCaSugzaCkT78e1Lk5ySMctzfMak_rQazC6DUk/edit?usp=sharing This example is not Python, but the Power M query language that is provided by Power BI. This should still be able to accomplish your goal, but will require you to get familiar with the Power M language.

Hi <a href="/user/alex-jarvo-1469" data-id="1469" data-value="AJarv-1469" data-denotation-char="@" class="text-decoration-none mention">@AJarv-1469</a>​ , The API Adapter uses a Getfeed to build it's cache of Devices, refreshing on an interval set in the device cache section. You can see an explanation of the settings <a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/12TIgTCuWVF_AYc3evsIms9VOecc1NT4P9Kn-eVg-H7k/edit#heading=h.vjygbfi1rrqi" target="_blank">here</a>.  If it's not an interval refresh setting at fault, I would verify the service account used by the adapter service has the proper group assignments to be able to view all the devices. This is the most common reason for an incomplete device list.
