Many users today have passwords that don't meet current MyGeotab policy requirements, which leaves accounts more vulnerable to unauthorized access and puts driver and fleet data at risk. Until now, there's been no way to let those users know their password falls short or guide them to update it. Coming this fall, MyGeotab and the Drive app will show a friendly reminder when a password doesn't meet policy requirements, encouraging the user to update it.

This gives users an early, gentle nudge to update a non-compliant password, reducing the risk of unauthorized account access and helping protect sensitive driver and fleet data, without administrators needing to track down and follow up with individual users one by one.

There's no deadline or forced action attached to the reminder right now. It's a heads-up designed to help keep accounts secure over time.
