We are excited to introduce an integrated report within the Sustainability Overview with enhanced data calculations to help your fleet meet evolving environmental standards.

Previously, detailed emissions reporting often required installing Marketplace Add-ins. We’ve now introduced a native, out-of-the-box Sustainability & Emissions Report. This built-in report allows you to export high-fidelity data directly from MyGeotab, making it easier to integrate your fleet’s performance into broader business intelligence systems or external Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosures.

To align with global regulatory requirements, we’ve upgraded our methodology from basic CO2 tracking to comprehensive CO2-equivalent (CO2e) greenhouse gas (GHG) calculations. This holistic view automatically accounts for all Scope 1 tailpipe emissions - including CO2, CH4, and N2O - across gas and diesel vehicles, providing a more accurate reflection of your environmental footprint.

The new reporting experience combines environmental data with operational metrics like fuel consumption and idling in a single view. The platform automatically applies the correct regional emission factors, such as US EPA or UK DEFRA, based on your fuel type and region. This eliminates manual overhead and ensures your team can focus on identifying specific areas of improvement to support your sustainability goals.

The Sustainability & Emissions Report is available globally across all supported languages. It respects your existing user data clearances, ensuring that fleet managers see only the assets they are authorized to manage. While legacy Marketplace add-ins remain supported for now, we encourage all users to adopt this new native report for a more comprehensive and streamlined experience.
