We are excited to announce a significant expansion of our safety capabilities: the MyGeotab Collision Risk feature now supports collision risk analytics for Ford OEM-connected vehicles. This update marks Ford as the first manufacturer to meet the data standards required to power our advanced safety insights without an aftermarket device.
Fleets using the Ford OEM Premium plan can now access deep risk analytics directly in the Collision Risk feature. This includes driver risk profiles and collision predictions at both the driver and vehicle levels. These insights allow you to proactively identify high-risk areas in your operations and implement targeted coaching to prevent incidents before they happen.

Ford OEM data is also integrated into your existing safety rules. You can monitor harsh acceleration, braking, cornering, tailgating, and speeding using the same thresholds you apply to the rest of your fleet. This ensures that your safety policies are enforced consistently, regardless of whether a vehicle is connected via a GO device or through built-in factory telematics.
For fleets already using the Ford OEM integration, qualifying Ford vehicles will automatically appear on the collision risk page once they have recorded at least 50 km of driving. While some specialized features like accident reconstruction remain exclusive to GO devices for now, this update provides the critical data needed to manage fleet safety effectively.
Note: This feature is available for Ford vehicles on a Premium (5-second) data plan. If a vehicle's data quality falls below the required threshold, certain insights may be temporarily disabled to ensure the accuracy of your safety scores.
