Monitoring tire health is a top priority for fleet safety and cost control, yet traditional alerts often struggle with accuracy. We are refining our approach to tire pressure monitoring to provide high-confidence insights that account for real-world variables.

What's new?

We will be replacing standard, static PSI thresholds with an intelligent peer-group model. This sophisticated analysis will determine the expected tire pressure for each specific vehicle type, leading to more reliable alerts.

  • Contextual thresholds: The system will soon account for environmental factors like temperature fluctuations that often trigger false alarms in other tools.
  • Targeted asset support: This initial release will be optimized for light- and medium-duty vehicles, utilizing specific data accessible from built-in vehicle sensors.
  • Automated maintenance: You will be able to link this rule to our Work Order Management system to generate a work request the moment a critical threshold is reached.

Why it matters

Tire maintenance is one of the largest expenses for any fleet, and false notifications often lead to alert fatigue. By providing alerts verified against peer-group data, we ensure your team only takes action when it is truly necessary.

This precision helps you maximize tire life, improve fuel efficiency, and prevent roadside breakdowns. By eliminating the "noise" of inaccurate data, your maintenance staff can focus on urgent repairs rather than chasing false reports. It transforms a frustrating maintenance task into a streamlined, automated process.

Availability

The Critical Low Tire Pressure rule will be available to all customers globally at the end of March, 2026.
