The Edit built-in rules clearance is being renamed Administer Built-in Rules. In addition to editing the conditions of permitted Stock Rules, users with this clearance can now turn Stock Rules on or off.

Why it matters

Administrators get more control over rule management and can separate user permissions for managing Stock Rules.

How it works

Rule management currently has two primary clearances:

  • Edit built-in rules (now Administer Built-in Rules) lets users edit conditions for specific permitted Stock Rules and, with this update, toggle them on or off.
  • Administer exception rules controls all actions (adding, editing and removing) across all Stock and Custom rules. It remains the required primary clearance for making changes to Stock Rules.
Availability

October 2026.
