Video data is a critical tool for managing fleet safety and driver behavior. To help make your camera data more reliable and easier to access, we will be officially graduating Camera Health from Beta.

Camera Health analyzes camera behavior in relation to vehicle trips to identify if a device is Healthy, Unstable, or Not working. This feature works by analyzing key metrics in the background:

• Uptime analysis: The system validates camera uptime during trips and categorizes the device accordingly.
• Fault code ingestion: It monitors diagnostic and fault codes from the camera and maps them to the overall health status.
• Video retrieval success: The system evaluates the success rate of recent video requests and updates the status if it falls below a certain threshold.

When the system detects an issue, it provides recommended actions to help you resolve the problem. These insights might suggest resetting the camera, checking the SD card, or contacting support.

Instead of discovering a recording failure only when you urgently need the footage, you now have actionable insights to address issues in advance. This proactive approach builds trust in your video system and helps your critical assets capture important events.

This feature will become available for all Order Now cameras, including GO Focus, GO Focus Plus, Lytx Surfsight, and Xirgo in February, 2026.
