This document outlines the setup process required to systematically import FleetCard Australia fuel transactions into a MyGeotab database.
! IMPORTANT: Clients must work directly with their FleetCard Australia Customer Service or the respective Account Manager to have their account added to the daily data feed with Geotab.
Setup process
This section outlines the timeline of adding FleetCard Australia integration to a database.
Request to add transactions to the Geotab file
- Contact FleetCard at 1300 881 246 or customer@bfcards.com.au or reach out to your FleetCard account representative to request that your transaction data is automatically shared with the Geotab platform.
- Ensure that licence plate information is filled in both the FleetCard and MyGeotab systems
✱ NOTE: If the licence plate is not associated with each card, then the transactions will not be matched with the correct asset in MyGeotab. This is the most common reason for ‘not assigned’ mismatched fuel transactions.
Enter Account ID on the Fuel Transactions page
! IMPORTANT: You may complete your fuel card integration setup in the Fuel Transactions page after completing the first step.
! IMPORTANT: Some fuel cards may not be supported by the standard integration. For confirmation, contact your fuel card provider to verify whether they have a supported integration with Geotab for your product.
Once you have completed the steps listed above, go to Fuel and Energy on the left-hand menu, click Fuel Transactions, and then select Fuel card integration to enter your account number and choose the appropriate provider. Generally, your account number is 5 to 6 digits long.
Allow a few days for the data to populate onto the page. If the data is not populating after this period, check with your fuel card provider to ensure the data is being shared with Geotab and confirm your account number.
