Marketplace

The Marketplace offers the full array of available apps in Next-Generation MyGeotab.

Note: This article describes the app experience in Next-Generation MyGeotab. For more information about apps in Classic MyGeotab, see our Apps in Marketplace help article. If you want to enable Next-Generation MyGeotab for your database, see our Next-Generation MyGeotab help article.

Administrators can download apps from the Marketplace to make them available to all users.

You can access the Marketplace in several ways:

  • Click Explore more apps in the main menu

  • Click the Shopping bag icon at the bottom of the main menu

  • Click Explore more apps from the app library

Note: Marketplace access is restricted to database Administrators. If you don't see the options above in your database, you'll need to contact your database Administrator to make the changes you need or adjust your permissions.

Installing apps from the Marketplace

Learn how to install apps directly from the Marketplace.

Installing an app from the Marketplace makes it available for users to access and pin.
  1. Click Explore more apps in the main menu.
  2. Locate the app you want to install from the list.
  3. Click Install.

Once the app is installed, you'll receive a popup confirmation letting you know it's been added to your app library. The popup will also let you know who has access to the app and who doesn't, based on their clearance in your database.
