Speeding reports
Speeding reports help you track and manage speeding in your fleet.
Monitoring speeding in your fleet helps you address risky driving behavior and pinpoint the drivers and vehicles most at risk.
You can monitor individual asset's speeding behavior using the Speed Profile, which analyzes a single asset at a time to provide in-depth data on the asset's speed relative to posted and estimated speed limits.
You can monitor speeding events throughout your fleet using the Speeding Violations report, which tracks speeding using speed count and speed percentage to provide an overview of your drivers' speeding habits.
Speed Profile
Learn how to use the Speed Profile feature to track vehicle speeds over time compared to the speed limit.
The Speed Profile feature is helpful for identifying speeding incidents, understanding driving behavior patterns, and analyzing the accuracy of speed data.
Blue represents your asset’s logged speed.
Red represents the recorded posted speed limit for a road segment.
Yellow represented the estimated speed limit for road segments without posted speed limits. Estimates are based on factors such as nearby known speed limits, the road’s location, and speed limit laws.

Speeding Violations report
The Speeding Violations report measures your fleets speeding count and speeding percentage.
Speeding count is the number of times a vehicle went over the set speed limit in a certain period.
Speeding percentage is the percentage of total miles driven while speeding. For example, if a vehicle's speeding percentage is 10% and it drove 100 miles, it drove over the limit for 10 miles.
A high speeding count does not necessarily mean a high speeding percentage. For example, a driver could exceed the speed limit many times, but only for short durations. This would result in a high count but a low percentage.
The criteria for the Speeding Violations report is set by your default speeding rule in your rule set. You can edit the conditions of this rule to more accurately track speeding violations according to your fleet’s needs.
