Asset Utilization report

The Asset Utilization report displays the most and least used vehicles in your fleet by days driven, drive time, and distance driven.

Asset utilization is a key metric for your fleet's performance. The Asset Utilization report shows you which vehicles in your fleet are used the most and which are used the least. This allows you to study trends and find areas to improve.

The report lists the ten most used and ten least used vehicles in your fleet. It details the days driven, drive time, and distance for each. If your fleet has under 20 vehicles, some vehicles will appear on both lists. The vehicle that is used most overall will have a 100% Utilization percentage.

Viewing the Asset Utilization report

Learn how to view the Asset Utilization report using the Risk Management feature.

  1. Navigate to Safety > Risk Management in the main menu.
  2. Under Filters:
    1. Select a date range for your data.
    2. Set Sub-periods to On, and select daily, weekly, or monthly.
    3. Select whether you want to view your report by Asset or Driver.
    4. Ensure that the Hide zero distance rows toggle is set to No.
    5. Click Apply.
  3. View the report in the format of your choice:
    1. Click Reports > Asset Utilization Report to download the report as an Excel file.
    2. Click Reports > Asset Utilization Report More Actions menu > Prepare PDF to download a PDF copy of the report.

Depending on the size of your report, it may take some time to generate. Navigate to Reports > My Reports to view its status.
